Fogh Marine has chartered 4 Laser XD sailboats for the Laser North Americans. These boats are an excellent opportunity to buy an almost new boat at a discounted price.

  • only the hull, spars, and Seitech dolly will be used
  • sail, rudder, daggerboard, and lines are all new and unused.
  • Seitech dolly (used during event) included
  • boat comes complete with the XD package including
    • padded hiking strap
    • Holt ratchet block
    • Harken 15:1 boomvang
    • Harken cleats and blocks in outhaul and cunningham systems
    • carbon-fibre tiller
    • carbon-fibre tiller extension
    • North Sails Laser sail
    • XD line package including Vectran traveler line

These Lasers can be purchased either as a full rig or a radial rig depending on the size of the sailor. Each hull will have been used for 4 days during the event and can be picked up either at the venue (Buffalo Canoe Club) immediately after the event or at Fogh Marine later in the week.

How to list your boat with Fogh Marine

The Fogh Marine Classifieds Fee is $50.00 CAD plus GST & PST. If you purchase a replacement boat from us, we are happy to deduct this fee from your boat deposit.

Your classified ad will be placed on our website, in our “used boat” binder in the store and in the next publication of “Boat for Sale” (for boats under $10,000 CAD).

Please remember to let us know when the your boat is sold, as your classified ad will remain active until you notify us.

What to include in your ad:

  1. make, name, and type of boat
  2. year of manufacture
  3. serial number (if possible)
  4. any upgrades or included items (second sail, dolly, covers, etc.)
  5. type of winter storage (outside, covered, garage, etc)
  6. # of times used or years used (if first owner)
  7. hull, deck, and sail colour
  8. current location (ie Etobicoke)
  9. a jpeg image or two that show the condition of and the parts included with the boat
  10. contact name, email address and or phone number
  11. asking price

Laser Radial Sail and Lower Mast

Everything necessary to convert a full rig Laser to a radial rig Laser is included. The kit was purchased as a gift and has never been sailed. The sail was put on once to show it but it was never used. Purchased new the set would sell for over $1150.00 incl tax. The set includes:

This original Laser is in excellent condition and is the classic orange hull with a cream deck. It comes complete with the old style lines but could easily be upgraded to the newer racing control lines. The boat features:
