Saturday March 6, 2010 - 11am - 1pm Absolutely FREE! Join our Hobie Team Kayak Fisher-Guru Jeff Wall, at Fogh Marine from 11am to 1pm, as he explores the equpment necessary for kayak fishing. Jeff is an active angler on his Mirage Adventure kayak and is responsible for Canada's first kayak fishing tournament. This introduction to kayak fishing will be based on the fishing and paddling opportunities in Ontario and will include basic safety considerations when kayaking choosing a kayak equipping a kayak for fishing equipping a kayak for safety electronics to consider freshwater fishing basics including licensing, rods and reels, nets, handling fish, taking photographic proof trip planning - day trips and multi-day expeditions kayak fishing events in Ontario for 2010 Everyone is invited to this hands-on presentation by Jeff Wall, Canada’s first Hobie Fishing Team member. It will be a great way to determine what you should look for before you buy a kayak and the accessories you will need to make it the perfect fishing craft for you. There will be Hobie and Ocean Kayak brands and some great deals available to those who attend.
